- When will the equipment show up?
- Will it all show up at once?
- Are the classrooms or office work stations ready for
installation?
- Are the desks for the computers in place?
- How will we schedule for wiring?
- What needs to be done first?
If it’s not handled properly, your installation could cause frustrating delays and increase your costs.
Formal project management can help. Project management is a proven set of methods and techniques designed to help you manage the costs, schedules, resources and quality associated with an activity, in this case the installation of your computer technology.
QCNC has invested substantial resources in developing and implementing world class project management capabilities. Our new project management approach allows us to handle the installation of your computer technology in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible. By deploying proven methodologies to project costs, schedule resources
and ensure the quality of your project we can save you time and money.
QCNC is a member of the Project Management
Institute. We are regularly updated on the latest, "best of breed" methods in
Project Management. This ongoing education benefits you by providing you with
the most efficient Project Management Team possible. You have the security of
knowing that you don’t have to take time away from your daily responsibilities
to manage your installation.
QCNC ’s project management services offer you a single point of contact—a project manager. This single point of contact is beneficial to you because it keeps you continually informed of the status of the project, the project timeline, shortfalls and limiting factors. Your Project Manager works for you and helps bridge the gap between your technical knowledge and the latest technologies. You no longer have to talk to a dozen people to coordinate your project. QCNC ’s Project Management Team does that for you. It is the Project Management Team’s goal to ensure your project is completed as efficiently as possible, within budget and within timeline restraints.
In addition to a Project Manager who coordinates your project from
QCNC, you will also be assigned an On-Site Project Manager. Your On-Site Project Manager is responsible for executing your project’s Scope of Work (The Scope Of Work is your project plan. It is the plan you have coordinated with your
QCNC Account Executive and have determined to be the right solution for your needs). The On-Site Project Manager ensures that the Scope of Work is executed and that any deviations are reported back to the Project Manager for correction. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your On-Site Project Manager coordinates the entire install team to ensure your satisfaction.
Here’s how the project management approach works:
